A run to remember: Guy’s 200-mile tribute 

In September, ultramarathon runner and Freemason, Guy Smith set out on what would become one of the most remarkable endurance challenges seen in the Province of Northumberland. His mission was to run to every Masonic Temple across the Province in just four days, covering more than 200 miles, in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK.

North Tyneside early years children will get help and support to be ready for school

Around 160 local children and more than 200 parents and carers will be receiving help and support in preparing for the first day of school, thanks to a grant to the Cedarwood Trust charity in North Shields.
