Website accessibility statement
The Freemasons’ Charity’s commitment to website accessibility
At the Freemasons’ Charity, we are committed to making our website, and the experience of using the website, as accessible as possible, across multiple devices and for all users.
It is our aim that everyone should be able to use our website, no matter what your impairments and which technologies you use. To that end, the website has been designed and coded taking best practice web accessibility guidelines into account.
Useful accessibility resources
The BBC has developed a series of accessibility guides which provide step by step assistance on how to change your computer and browser settings for websites to be more accessible for you.
You may also want to customise your experience using accessibility assistive technology. Useful resources are:

How accessible is the website?
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- not all media will have a transcript or be subtitled
- some text may not reflow in a single column when you change the size of the browser window and at certain levels of magnification
- some older PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen reader software
December 2024 updates
We updated the heading order, to ensure that it follows accessibility guidance. We are currently working on adjusting the sizes of the headings.
