Freemasons support for Crohn’s & Colitis UK 

In the UK today, around 1 in every 120 people – more than 540,000 children, young people and adults – are living with Crohn’s or Colitis, the two main forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. These are lifelong, debilitating conditions that can impact every part of a person’s life. There is no known cure, and complications can, at times, be life-threatening. But there is also hope.

Twenty years of exceptional talent

In September, we invited six of these talented individuals, aged between 10-22, to visit Freemasons’ Hall, where they were filmed showcasing their talents and sharing their stories for an exciting video project to mark the anniversary of the scheme.

Paving the way for ground breaking medical research

Last month, PhD student Liam graduated from the University of Nottingham. We got in touch to find out more about how our funding through Asthma + Lung UK helped him complete his vital research into stem cell biology.
